i found this mini-mini photo of my grandmother hidden inside some old leather wallet. i don't really know much about it, i have no idea who took it or where or when was this, only that she is so beautiful and that sitting next to her is one of her brothers. i can help but wonder who was she looking at.

it is hard to believe it's been two years. i miss her more that ever.

right-handed knitter tara-lynn is re-opening her etsy shop for fall on the first week of september. i love all her knittings but i am especially drawn first to anything that would cover my neck. oh, and i really like this pretty beret as well.

i really, really like this building too. it is located right next to the little perfume shop i was telling you about the other day. i wouldn't mind living up there, imagine the view you must have, all the pretty historical center right at your feet.

we've been having grey skies and heavy rain. the other day i accidentally stepped into a pond with both feet and it was so cold and horrible because the water was filthy. i was on my way home when it happened and the minute i got home i jumped into the shower and scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed my poor feet.

of course, the one day i don't wear my rain boots...
