07 August 2008

hello. i have something to tell you. some of you might have already heard, but most of you haven't; either way, here it goes:
·
i am going to live to sweden for one year (maybe two)...!!! i have been accepted for a master's programme at göteborgs university, it starts later this very august!
·
i can hardly believe it myself.
·
i still don't have a date of when i will depart as i am waiting for my visa to arrive, but it should be any day now. it is all happening so sudden, even for me.
·
little by little, i have started to say good-bye; list making and packing has begun as well; once again i am preparing to leave my family, my friends and my country. no matter how many times you've done it before, it is very hard to leave. at least for me.
·
on the other hand, i have butterflies in my tummy all the time; i wonder what will become of me. things don't always go as you plan and due to misfortunate events, i won't have so much money, so i will have to get a job as soon as i get there. i don't really mind, but it is definately going to be a challenge and to think about it makes me tremble. but, you know what? i say bring it on. i will take whatever comes with my heart and mind wide open.
·
i dream about sweden day and night. i dream about the ocean and its salty breeze too. things are changing, things are moving. what's happening is wonderful.
·
thank you for listening and i will keep you posted n_n
·

Thank you for leaving a lovely comment on my blog. Sweden! How exciting. I had a friend who went over there to study medicine. It was challenging as all her classes were in Swedish! She loved her time there...regretably did not finish her degree for some personal reasons, but remembers her time in Sweden with great fondness.
