this autumn...

 
i went to stockholm for four days to visit my friend karin. the only plan in mind was to take it easy, fika a lot, and visit museums, of course, and second-hand shops.
 we had lunch at this lovely placed called blå porten. we sat outdoors and it was very cold but we got blankets to wrap ourselves around and enjoy our meal.
right next door, we visited liljevalchs konsthall where there was a really nice exhibition, elegant einar, with paintings by einar jolin.
 we walked and walked and walked.
 with coffee to go most of the times. and when tired of walking, karin hopped on one foot.
 stockholm is SO beautiful in the autumn, it is golden.
lastly, 3 new things: i got a new coat, the new belle & sebastian album and also visited fotografiska, the new photo museum!

I'm so jealous! I would love to go to Sweden, Stockholm is #1 on my list of European cities that I want to see. This fall I haven't been up to much, walking around town taking photos, weekly lunches with my girls, drawing, thrifting and watching films. It's been quiet but nice :)

love these photos! esp that one of your friend and her one-legged pose..so cute! love her coat too.

autumn has been crazy for me lately and the weather's been crazy too, so can't say that i'm enjoying it as i should be. but definitely loving wearing tights and sweaters and staying in cozied up with a book. :)

Vi muchos museitos y galerías, has ido? había uno que seguramente te hubiera encantaado. es de timbres postales, hermosisisimo.

I visited stockholm a few almost two months ago, and Fotografiska is one of my favorit spot. I love the museum & the view from the coffee so much !
